Two easy ways to implement technology into your business

There have been many conversations around using technology in your business, but for most of us we don’t actually know where to start.

How should we introduce technology into a business that possibly used very little of it, if any at all?

The truth is, if you have an email account and computers in your business, you’re not too far off-track as you may think. The mere fact that you felt it important enough to read this blog indicates there’s a shift in your perspective which believe it or not is the difficult part.

So, you may be wondering … where do I start?

Firstly, we are going to make several assumptions during this article

  • You’ve decided you need to utilize technology some more within your business
  • Your company has a strategic mandate or vision and mission
  • There is a 3 – 5 year strategic plan or you are committed to creating one

Our last assumption is where we begin with your mission and vision for your business. If you have never created one before I know it may sound like a daunting task but it’s really understanding where you want to see your business in 3 – 5 years. If you require assistance with this, our C Suite business services will take away some of the stress associated with creating it.

Utilizing our C Suite services we get an appreciation of your vision which we will now refer to as your future state, and where you are right now as your current state. Comparing your current state with your future state, the result of which will set into motion your roadmap to achieving your strategic objective. This roadmap will become your pathway to achieving your vision. At this point, we redefine your processes and supplement using technology to increase efficiency and productivity with our C Suite and Business Operations services.

C Suite is a set of strategic management performance metrics used to identify and improve various internal business functions and their resulting outcomes.

The results of which guide our implementation of technology to achieve the following:

  • Business Analytics
  • Strategic Planning
  • Organizational Alignment
  • Competitive Advantage
  • Streamline Business Operations
  • Policy Implementation
  • Collaboration and Execution

Business Operations

In Business Operations, we utilize the policies we created for your business, to guide how we configure and implement technology for your end-users. We ensure that your end users are guided by the overall mission.

For instance, keeping employees productive and maintaining high efficiency maybe one of the main objectives in your business. How do we utilize technology to keep users productive? We monitor what type of activities employees engage in that cause them to be less productive, then we implement technology configurations to curtail these activities.

Another common activity that reduces employee’s productivity is social media usage. We utilize this information to eliminate non-productive tools and ensure that your employees have only the tools needed to remain productive throughout the day.

With this introduction to technology in your business, we hope you get an appreciation for how these services can help elevate your business to a different level of productivity.
