How Productivity Tools Enhance Business Performance

In our last article we spoke extensively about Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and its use as a conduit, taking an organization from current state into a future state.

This future state allows the organization to seamlessly align its strategic vision. The key tools that allow and facilitate this process are the Business Productivity Tools (BPT) that are necessary to enhance and support this initiative. BPT act as a centralized data repository for all of the information that resides within an organization. It collates this data and enables real-time access while providing seamless interdepartmental collaboration.

Interdepartmental collaboration improves reach and transforms the internal and external customer experience . What makes these tools so valuable is that it reduces costs, increases data analytics and ensures a heightened sense of confidentiality. BPT allows every employee within your organization access to the portal that houses these productivity tools. Access to this portal allows employees to have real-time data at their fingertips, which allows them to achieve efficiency and productivity within the work environment.

Now, the portal our client interacts with looks like one seamless environment, when in reality in the background there are three independent, but integrated pieces of software interacting with each other. Isn’t that exciting?
